Orange Status Light Stays On
Possible Cause 1: Radar Detection (Movement Detected)
The radar sensor has detected a cat or other movement near the device. This is normal behavior designed to protect pets during operation.
What Happens?
-The orange light stays on.
-If the litter box is running, it will pause for 5 seconds.
-If movement continues, the pause time will extend automatically.
-Once the area is clear for 5 seconds, the machine will resume operation.
What to Check?
1.Please ensure there are no people, cats, or any moving objects within 1 meter of the device.
2.Check the surrounding environment and keep the device at least 10 cm away from walls or large operating appliances.
Possible Cause 2: Weight Sensor Triggered
If no movement is detected within 1 meter, but the orange light stays on and the machine stops, the weight sensor may have detected a change inside the litter drum.
What to Check?
4.Make sure the litter box is placed on a flat, hard surface.
5.Ensure all four support legs are firmly touching the floor.
Note: Do not place the litter box on a litter mat, as this may affect the weight sensor.
6.Check that nothing is stuck under the base of the device.
Remove any objects under the base or support feet (including mats, cables, or carpets).
7.Check whether there are foreign objects inside the litter drum.
a. Temporary Weight Detection (Normal Behavior)
If the device briefly detects a weight increase of more than 200 g, but the weight is quickly removed, the machine will automatically resume operation after 5 seconds.
This may happen when:
-The filter screen shakes during operation
-A cat briefly places a paw on the edge of the litter box and then moves away
This is normal behavior and no action is required.
b. Continuous Weight Detected
If the device detects a continuous weight increase of more than 200 g during the leveling or cleaning process, the machine will pause and remain stopped for safety.
This may occur when:
-A cat enters the litter box during operation
-Litter is added while the device is running
Please check the litter box and ensure no pets or objects are inside.
8.After adding litter, make sure you pressed the “Level” button to recalibrate the weight.
9.If the device does not resume operation, you can press and hold the “Level” button for 3 seconds to reset the device.
10. If the issue still persists, please unplug the device for a few seconds and then plug it back in.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, please provide a video when contacting our customer support team.
